Expropriation & Dispute Resolution
The Expropriations Act requires landowners to be paid market value for expropriated land on a “willing buyer / willing seller” basis. TER provides market related analysis and expert witness testimony before the Board of Negotiation and LPAT with respect to establishing market value, injurious affection, disturbance damages and business losses. We have acted both on behalf of the expropriating authority as well as land owners whose properties have been expropriated.
In addition, TER provides market related analysis and evidence for lease disputes and land lease.
